“ Nasi Ambeng is huge portion for sharing. Taste of beef and curry chicken is nice. Veg and Beancurd dishes raw and hard. Tiktok: SA Soln Ig: sgfood13 ”
“ Ordered the Nasi ambeng set for 4 people. Grated coconut was nice, lemak chilli padi doesn’t taste like the usual lemak chilli padi but it was still nice. Requested to change something to the squid ink, and it was good! Everything else was okay-ish. ”
“ Had my anniversary dinner. The dishes tastes amazing & the flavours is spot on. Compliments to the chef & also the manager, John & his team. Never failed to smile & check with us. Well done. ”
“ Love the food here! Ayam masak merah : 10/10 ! Flavours of the ayam merah brought back memories of my mums cooking when I was younger! Could taste the authenticity of the dish and not overly sweet or salty! Sambal Sotong : 8.5/10 ! Sotong Kembang texture was very well done and the sambal itself tasted really great! Not too spicy and not like the too bitter after taste like some Malay shops usually has! Lemak Cili Padi : 10.5/10!!! This was so good! The key to all lemak is the taste of the “lemak-ness” and I can tell you for sure that this lemak tasted really “Gao” and not salty! Don’t worry about the spice level tho!! It’s not spicy at all!! Chicken was super tender too!! Mix Vegetables: solid 10/10!! Although it’s a simple non cooked dish but the veggies freshness and crunch makes the dish stand out on its own! The combo of this veggies goes well with any dish! Steam Fish Thai Styel : 10.5/10!! My husband is a fish eater & his so particular of how his fish is being cooked!! At first he didn’t want to take the fish because his afraid of the fishy smell of the dish if the fish isn’t cooked or washed properly.. but we still took it to give the benefit of the doubt! And I can tell you this is his favourite fish restaurant from now on! He even said it’s better than Sanooks!! That means his definitely repeating this dish again! Lemak Siput : 1/10 :( The kunyit wasn’t “ pecah “ when tasted it .. it tasted really bad as tho the chef did not wait for it to pecah minyak but we feedback and they voided the order for us! Which is so nice of them!! Sambal belacan : 100/100!! Wow if I can buy this belacan in a bottle I would!! So hard to find this kind of belacan anywhere now!!!! PLEASE EAT THIS WITH ANY DISH U ORDER!! It will bring out the best of all dish !!! I would recommend you guys to come down and try this dish if you’re feeling like having the pure authentic experience Malay food! They have 2 levels and great seating capacity!! We will definitely be back!!! ”
“ Had a wonderful experience at Padi@bussorah yesterday! Booked for a Birthday lunch, the Nasi Ambeng was a hit and a definite must try! The team was very accommodating with excellent service. Highly recommendedThank you:) ”
“ Small cozy place for a flavourful and hearty meal. Prices are reasonable for the location, service is good and food flavours is spot on. Reminds me of Malaysian food ”
“ Love their dessert...the fried banana dip with chilli (kicap Manis) and the balaclava is crispy and yet fluffy inside. The pistachio sweetness is PERFECT. I would go back again for their dessert. Food is nice. For the nasi ambeng price, is considered reasonable in that area. Service is prompt and service crew are friendly and nice. ”
“ The best Nasi Ambeng I've tasted in Singapore! I order the one person portion usually, which comes with choice of protein: ayam chicken or rendang beef. Very succulent meat and tasty curry/flavorings. I like the range dishes from long bean, bean sprouts, bagedil (minced potato ball), organs (beef liver?), coconut flakes, sambal goreng, hot grated chili, sotong (squid) and superbly rich flavored salted fish. Highly recommend to anyone who like to try traditional authentic malaysian/indonesian cuisine. ”
